StuConnect is UK’s no.1 online student networking platform for students and graduates to connect, share and develop skills. Students across the country from all levels and disciplines will be able to locate each other and collaborate on business or study related projects.

How it works

1. Get on the site and Hit the “Sign up” button and create a StuConnect profile. It only takes 7 seconds – yes we’ve timed it!
2. Add a bit of character to your profile. We like nice photos so make sure you upload yours!
3. Finally do what you came for! Add your Project or job to the listings or search for a Project that requires your skills.

StuConnect is an online marketplace that connects students and graduates holding entrepreneurial ambitions with students who have creative skills.

The Problems:

1: – Stu wants to set up a business, but cannot afford the quote from a web designer, nor does he have the skills to make it himself.

2. – Connie is a very skilled graphic designer, she knows that she can create websites but when applying for jobs is always told that she has no work experience.

The Solution: StuConnect

A skill-sharing website aimed at ambitious students and graduates, to allow them to locate others who possess skills that they require, and to outsource jobs to them. Once fully developed it will provide a feedback system so that prospective students can assess the suitability of potential connections and provide a system by which they can negotiate a deal.

As well as this there will be events, competitions, and lots of advice from those that have been there and done it.

Founder: Dwain Reid

Dwain is a business mentor with over 7 years experience working with students and young people developing enterprise and employability skills. He launched StuConnect to encourage talented students and graduates to collaborate more.

Great at: Networking and connecting people

Not so good at: Paperwork
